The trigger module is designed to synchronize a FLIR camera, DMD micromirror mask generation unit, and spectrometer based on cell flow rate through a 100 µm-wide microtube. A micropump channels cells into a slide for optimal viewing. An external trigger sets the initial time, and the timing of multiple instrument triggers can be precisely adjusted, including pulse width, which can be used as the camera exposure trigger. Multiple modes allow flexible experiment setup, ensuring alignment with cell speed across the viewing frame.
